I ran a pretty amazing and challenging 20 minute ‘Fartlek’ this morning. This was definitely a tough one but the beauty resides in repeating this fartlek over time. As it’s time based you can measure your own improvement based on the total distance you do within the 20 minutes. I did a total of 4,65 km today.

๐ :60 sec at 5k pace, :60 sec recovery

๐ :30 sec at 5k pace, :30 sec recovery

๐ :15 sec at 5k pace, :15 sec recovery

@camiel dat is 4:18 gemiddeld, netjes! Of reken je warm up en cool down niet mee in de 20 minuten? Ga deze ook eens proberen deze week. Wat is jouw 5km race pace?

@thijs 5.35 gemiddeld met warm up en cool down. Recovery is dribbel.
5km tempo is 5:15 nu.
@thijs Fartlek gaat het beste als je alles rennend doet zeggen ze. Dus dribbel.
